At Gladys May Cakery, I aim to create beautiful, hand crafted cakes and cupcakes that taste delicious and are a real show stopper - as they should be!
Having trained for a year at Le Cordon Bleu London in 2012, I graduated with a diploma in superior patisserie and a certificate in cake decorating, and went on to work as a pastry chef at hotels and restaurants in London and on the Isle of Wight. After five years in the industry, I opened Gladys May Cakery in January 2017, named after my Grandmother. The business has gone from strength to strength with many happy brides along the way!
I specialise in both buttercream and fondant/sugarcraft so am very versatile and work closely with my couples to create their dream wedding cake, either working off a design they have in mind or designing something special and original.
Cake tastings are available in lots of delicious flavours and I cater for a variety of dietary requirements.
I try to make the whole process as easy and relaxed as possible, which is why all my prices include delivery and set up on the day, so it's one less thing for you to worry about.
