Cat Skellington

Cat Skellington is a gypsy jazz band based on the Isle of Wight. We live and gig on the Isle of Wight, London and the South. The typical line up of the band is a quartet with double bass, rhythm and lead guitars and clarinet/vocals.

Influenced mostly by the great French gypsy guitar player Django Reinhardt the music we play is largely from the swing era of the 1920s - 40s. It is a style of music with an irresistible beat and a boundless energy known to induce toe tapping of extreme vivacity.
